I’m Pam and when my children became teenagers I decided to go back to college and retrain. I took a full time course in catering and, after two years gained an NVQ 2 in Catering and Hospitality, an NVQ 3 in Business Management and was awarded Mature Student of the Year. During this time I experienced many kinds of catering opportunities, such as lunch service at the Chelsea Flower Show, Champagne Service at Blenheim Palace and serving afternoon tea at a Buckingham Palace Garden Party, where I had the honour of being presented to H.M. the Queen!
After working in a professional kitchen I decided to pursue my dream of being my own boss and launched my own business! My speciality quickly became homemade cakes and pastries and I became a regular producer at local Farmer’s markets.
For over 20 years St Margarets Catering has been providing a range of high quality, home cooked food for people across Norfolk and Suffolk. We enjoy helping you to make your occasion memorable, whether it is a corporate buffet, a family occasion or a cake to make your celebration special. In 2009 demand for our celebration cakes was so great that we had to expand the business and ‘Cakes to Celebrate’ was born.
We offer a wide range of lunchtime, afternoon tea and evening buffets. Sample menus are available on request and can be adapted to suit your exact requirements. Buffets can be delivered directly to your venue.
